If animals are protected — then we are protected too: veterinary students on their profession, practice, and the region’s future
INNOVATE SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY
Real growth. Real challenges. Real people.
The INNOVATE SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY forum is a place where the future of the region speaks in the voices of students. It makes clear which professions truly drive progress, what the state prioritizes, and why staying in your home region is not a step back — but a conscious, meaningful choice.
Kseniya Supermina, a second-year bachelor’s student majoring in Veterinary Medicine, puts it simply and sincerely:
“Loving animals isn’t just about being kind. It’s real, daily work. If you truly love animals, then you must know how to help them, not just watch.”
Kseniya highlights that state grants are increasingly allocated to professions like veterinary medicine and forestry — a direct response to the needs of the region.
“Our instructors are true professionals — many of them graduates of our legendary specialized Zooveterinary Institute. They don’t just lecture — they inspire, they share experience. Most importantly, everything is based on practice. We go to pet clinics, and we even have our own livestock farm. How can you learn to be a vet without hands-on experience? That’s impossible. And we have it all here!”
Adema Manapova, Kseniya’s classmate, joins the conversation:
“We have excellent labs, modern equipment, and experienced specialists. Our profession has always been in demand — and still is. Because if the world of animals is protected — then we are protected too.”
Here they stand — the students of Shakarim University. Those who don’t wait for change to come from outside. Those who study, act, and are already ready to take responsibility. For the animals. For the profession. For their region.
INNOVATE SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY is where decisions are born — and where they are given the chance to grow.
